Rates (RATES AS OF JAN 1, 2010) DAILY DROP IN $12 All scheduled adult classes will have a minimum age of 14 to participate. Anyone 16 years and under must be accompanied by an adult. Designated kids classes will be noted on the schedule. CLASS DESCRIPTIONS CORPS FITNESS (Beginner / Intermediate & Advanced) Military-style fitness program focusing on muscular and cardiovascular endurance, core strength, and mental determination. Corps Fitness classes incorporate basic bodyweight exercises, plyometrics, weights, and team challenges into a circuit training format. The outcome is, simply, the best workout you'll ever experience! KETTLEBELL CONDITIONING Kettlebell conditioning classes focusing on speed, agility, functional strength and power. Classes use basic kettlebell movements and bodyweight exercises to build power from the inside out! Be prepared for an intense cardio, full-body workout. Kettlebells help build stability, balance, coordination, and explosiveness. Participants must attend a Kettlebell Instructional session. CROSSFIT Corps Fitness is an approved licensed Affiliate of CrossFit. CrossFit is a conditioning program that is minimalist and diverse. CrossFit workouts vary by day (called "Workout of the Day") and can include any types of exercises in any format! The CrossFit philosophy is as follows: -conditioning should constantly vary. -conditioning should occur at high intensity. -conditioning should include functional movements. STRENGTH Strength-training & cardio combined. Focus on functional strength, resistance training coupled with cardiovascular elements in a group setting. Personal training at its best! BODY WEIGHT BLAST Same format as the regular Corps Fitness classes with a focus on bodyweight functional movements |
