Thank you very much for getting me back into cycling. I owe you a debt of gratitude. Since sustaining a T-12 incomplete spinal cord injury in December 1999, there were many areas near my home and in Berks County I had really enjoyed that I hadn’t seen in almost eight years. As a former triathlete, I enjoyed biking and running in those areas. I was wondering if I would ever see the again. The Wyomissing Park and the Tulpehocken Creek Towpath were, and are, great recreational areas. Since my injury new trails have been added in the county such as the Thun, Schuylkill River Trail. Now I do have the opportunity to enjoy these areas again.

Last summer when you allowed me to borrow your handcycle, a new world was opened for me. Since then, I’ve purchased my own handcycle. I had no idea they were so much fun. It allows me to enjoy many of the beautiful areas nearby, as well as being a new great way to exercise. Combining bicycling with other activities, has enabled me to exercise more like I used to by cross training. It truly has become part of my lifestyle. I’m enjoying my bike so much that this fall my wife and I have planned a new England biking trip. Thank you again Chris.

Very Truly Yours
